Epoch Curated sells access to online exam-preparation sessions run by tutors, along with study material such as flashcards. We arrange and host the sessions; the tutor delivers the teaching.
Your account is for you alone. You may use it on your own devices (phone, tablet, laptop), but you may not share your login with anyone else. We may end sessions on other devices, or suspend an account, where we see a login being shared.
Sessions, recordings and study material are for your personal study only. You may not record, copy, resell or share them. Recordings may be time-limited and may be removed after the relevant exam.
If a tutor cannot make a session, we will reschedule it or provide the recording. If we cannot deliver a session at all, you will be refunded for that session.
We help you prepare. We cannot and do not guarantee any particular mark or exam result.
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
Please read this before you pay.
Nothing here removes any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act or ECTA.
This explains how we handle your personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Under POPIA every business must appoint and register an Information Officer. Ours is Mohamed Shibli Soofie, registered with the Information Regulator of South Africa on 19 August 2026 under registration number 2026-064712.
Any question about your personal information — what we hold, correcting it, or having it deleted — goes to [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you may complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.
We do not store your card details. Payments are handled by Paystack, our payment provider.
To give you what you paid for, to run your account, and to let you know about sessions for your modules. We do not sell your information to anyone.
Only with the services needed to run Epoch Curated: our payment provider (Paystack), our email provider, and the video platform used for the session. Tutors see who is attending their session, not your payment details.
For as long as you have an account, and afterwards only where the law requires us to keep records.
You can do the first three from Settings → Privacy & data, or by emailing us. You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa ([email protected]).
Access is protected by your password. Only you can see what you have bought. Keep your password to yourself.
Your join button appears on the session card in the app, ready before it starts. We send you a reminder by email when it is coming up, but the button itself stays in your account — that way it cannot be forwarded on, which is what keeps the class the size you paid for.
You keep the recording. One price covers the session whether you attend live or watch it afterwards.
We do not refund sessions once bought, because you keep the recording. If we cancel and cannot reschedule, you are refunded in full.
Senior students, postgraduates and qualified teaching assistants who have done well in the module they teach.
No. Your account is for you, on your own devices. Sharing a login can get the account suspended, and it is what keeps prices low for everyone.
